Super 5 crowns a new millionaire in Malta

A ticket bought in Zejtun matched all the five numbers drawn on 30 December for the Super 5 lottery.

A lucky player in Malta is celebrating the New Year’s eve earlier than expected. Maltco has in fact made it official that in the Super 5 draw of 30 December 2020, a ticket purchased in a Zejtun outlet matched all the numbers drawn, thus winning an astounding jackpot of €1,029,009.61.

At the moment there is no further information on the identity of the winner, who is required to present him/herself at the Maltco offices with the original winning ticket for the collection of the prize.

Zejtun’s winning with the Super 5 comes just a few days after another big hit, achieved with the Lotto Quaterno draw on December 19: on that occasion a local couple scooped a € 1,160,000 prize, thanks to a bet made at the Maltco Pos 164 in Kalkara.
